Default Re: Top Draster wheelbase

First of all I am glad to see the mood is a little lighter tonight than in the past few days and just think it all started with the topic "top dragster wheelbase" Brian have we covered that question in enough detail

I can not stress enough that we need to move forward if we want this to be a success. The decision has been made Not by Wayne and not by Scott but by the people who are ultimately responsible for the success of this race LVD. There is never going to be a decision that everyone is going to agree to. If you choose not to race because of this then you are missing out on a big opportuinity. I want to race the national event at epping this year. I am stepping my car up to do so not asking them to change there rules to fit me. I realize that nitrous is not feasible for everyone. However, there are things you can do. How creative can you be. Just look at what went on during Friday nigh qualifying at last years NED national. I am kind of sorry I missed it. There were people pulling radiators out, figuring how much fuel they needed in the tank to get A to B. I know there is know guaruntee that I will qualify for every race. But I can tell you that I am committed to this class. If I dont have enough I will figure out a way to enough for the next race.

Brian just curious what heads are on that 598. I think its going to be faster than you think. That car does not look all that heavy.

I have to ask Old Digger are you for real? If so (and I am doubting it) if you PM me with who you actually are I woul be more than happy to give a phone number and email so I can share more positive information about this deal. It created by racers for racers. Trust me Most if not all of us do not fit into the high dollar category. However, you will find that we are committed to fast bracket racing. Fast is not always all about money. Or call the number that Scott gave earlier I think you would be impressed with what he has to say.

Without starting another debate whats with this whole "slower more consistant cars" That is a Fallacy and I have heard it a few times on here. I know of plenty of six second cars that can run the number pass after pass. I have run down 12 second cars at ATCO. Thats always fun 187mph coming up on 110. I know nothing personal was meant but its been bothering me just had to ask.
