I think they were D5 compound - 1672's, sold that car about 5 years ago... but I would not be locked to the Goodyears... They worked very well for me, but Hoosier and Mickey have good tires also. Look at who has the size you need, in a stiff wall.
Also, as others have said, tubes are an option. I ran them for a while, but got away from them. Pros and cons to tubes... They do stiffen up the tire some, and do not leak down as bad, but always risk tearing, and the added weight. Some say harder to balance the tires with tubes, etc.
I always soaped the insides of my slicks and ran without tubes for the last several years, both on my big tires and the 9" stocker slicks.
