Well Geoff, that depends,the guys running comp eliminator prefer to run the narrowest and lightest possible tire, because hard tail econo dragsters run a little quicker with lighter or high growth tires. Goodyear and Hoosier both make light and high growth tires for that purpose.
However if your a bracket or super class racer you can get better consistency on varying track surfaces with the largest tire that will fit on your rims. I prefer the Hoosiers with the soft side wall on my hard tail S /C dragster but three a lot of ways "to skin that cat" Good day! ![]()
