Default Re: Something good for my feet at the track

In my experience , none of the race shoes are up to the task of caring for your feet when walking around. They are great when you are in the car. Light weight thon sole that lets you feel the clutch pedal. Etc.
I was at Indy a few years back. Walking around on some crew shoes. Ended up with plantar fasciatis. That was a miserable experience for me anyway. Not saying it would happen to you or anyone else, but I did learn a lot about shoes. LOL. I threw out about six pair and put orthodics in all other shoes. I don't have any problems with the system I have now. Race shoes in race car and then my regular shoes when outside the car. Not a big deal since I need to take my shoes off to put the fire pants on.
