Default Is there a date stamp on Hoosier slicks

I just got a new pair of slicks and they look like they have sitting on a shelf for a long time. Is there a date stamp somewhere on the tire or label that would show when they were produced?
And would it make any difference in how they would work if they are a year or two old but have never been mounted or outside for that matter?
