Trailer lights and plugs no power

make up a short cord just a footer so with a male plug connector on each end --plug one end into an extension cord and into a working 110 wall outlet plug the other end into a 110 outlet in the trailer ( you are back feeding 110 power into the trailer) see if the lights work---- as a previous poster suggested those 5 foot lites might be 110 and not 12 volt--also take test lite and see if you have power to the switch might also be a bad switch
