Per my post on your Rod question ,,, I have run SB Chevys for over 20 years ( yea I'm Old
![]() I have run all the different blocks ,,, The one I perfer , and as a matter of fact I still have one new , never been used ( along with a lot of other SB stuff ) is a 2 bolt Chevy Bow Tie ( 2 bolt was thicker in the main area ) that has been converted to 4 bolt steel caps , boered to 4.130 ( I never take them all the way out to allow for future re-builds and boering ) decked , cleared for Groden Alumin Bilet 6"rods with a 3.750 stroke and 350 mains ,,, it was for a one piece seal crank but converted over for a 2 piece seal , so it can use any style crank. --- I bought it over 10 years ago when Chey used real metal ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Colorful Used to be SB racer !!
