Congrats to the Champs

Let me start off by offering congratulations to the NHRA Division 1 Top Dragster (Joey DiPasquale) and Top Sportsman (Tommy Daras) Champs. Great seasons for both of these guys.

I opened up the Dec. 12th issue of the National Dragster and was disappointed. Every division had a picture of their Top Sportsman and Top Dragster champs, EXCEPT for Division 1. Although you two gentlemen may not have been covered in print, you should be proud of your accomplishments. Being highlighted or praised by the "powers that be" is nice, but earning the respect and admiration of your fellow racers is what it is all about, and you two men have done just that.

Good luck on defending your crowns in 2009.
