Default Re: Brian Forrester

Thanks for the kind words everyone. After losing twice in previous Indy finals, it was nice to get the monkey off my back. You know the old saying, "when it's your day, it's your day." There were a couple of rounds there on Monday I'm not so sure I deserved to win, but sometimes the box score doesn't always tell the whole story. I guess I was good enough when I had to be and then luck took over from there. I'd like to give a big tip of the hat to Craig Anderson who was much more gracious then I could of ever been given the situation. I got opportunity to talk to "Bighead" a few times during the week leading up to Monday, and I can totally understand now why the man has so many friends. He's a good person and obviously knows how to drive a race car well, and I just feel very forunate and lucky that things turned out the way they did.

Again, thanks for of the support. It was a dream come true weekend for sure, and one that my dad and I will always be proud of and cherish for the rest of our racing lives. Take care, and we'll see you at the track.

Brian,

PS- John, when you're ready, I've got the hook up at Brodix on aluminum blocks. And next time, say good bye before you leave the track ;-)
