Default Re: Which Powerglide Trans Filter?

The OE type works fine for most PG applications. .....NAPA has the OE bronze screen type , P/N ATP13998. ....About $4, It's what almost every trans mfgr. uses except for the pan kits that relocate the filter rearward and use an early Torque flite filter.....I also avoid the fiber type filter, altho some mfgrs. recommend them for use with aluminum drums . ............Tom

Yes, the bronze screen filters work great. I even clean and re-use them.
