NHRA general regulations state "nom OEM mechanical pump must have a quick action fuel shutoff valve within easy reach of driver and located in the main fuel line between the fuel tank and carbuerator and/or injectors."

If you have a fuel cell, make sure it has a ground strap.

Thanks for the info. That is what I thought.
I,m officially a card carrying member of the NHRA again. I've already figured out not to call Cali for anything. LOL
