Pete,
Buy a 1000 Honda and be done with it under $ 700... I did it three years ago, best move I ever made .. You don't even know it's running , weighs 27 lbs and will handle everything you need .... Look up GGT trailers in NC , they have the best prices on Honda's in the country .... You won't be Sorry..... E-mail me if you have any questions .........

was going to suggest this anyway. i have a generac/craftsman 1000w it is very quiet. i use it at night to run the motor home, no air. it will run TV/ fridge/stereo/and fan for 7-8 hours on 1 gal of gas! i run it inside the trailer w/doors closed, and vents open. cannot hear it.... cost under $500

A fellow at work went out and bought an import muffler and some pipe long enough to go above his trailer and he had no complaints about noise or odor. Keith, this would keep your trailer from getting full of exhaust if you put a small hole in the roof for the pipe.
