Long time ago the e.t break here was 8.00 1/8th mile. Tracks let you run both classes. We used restrictor plates to slow down to 7.90's so we could run both. There are tricks to running a plate for consistency though. I can't tell you may want to try one again.

I have seen guys running that system in the NHRA Unleashed index classes with good results. For people with carburetors, it looks like a simple way to adjust ET.
