i have to ask and this not to bash the track ,this only for information only so i can better prepair my car for slick conditions,how many of you spun the tires running 9" radial tire's ,the first and second time trials where good for me but the first round was a pedal fest,,,i have talked to a few racer's who spun ,for those who i didnt please chime in also this is for ss guys as well ,we all realize its not a perfect world but i have to know gmonde

Left lane was terrible. I spun with no traction what so ever. I stopped and looked at it after my run. Just one big bald spot. Denny Boyle , who is at lebanon all the time was at the starting line watching and said almost every car in that lane spun and lost. Not a good way to race. Gary

Both Denny & I approached the starting line to see how "bad" it really was?
JUNK Started the day with 60 cars, the 8 remaining are: The "KVG" (Kenny Van Gorp) vs Al "Rack-em-Up" Mark "Fast Eddie" Bednaz vs Dj "I'm one of those Bratz" Pires Dave "The Tornado" Casey vs "Tj" "another one of those Bratz" Boucher & Bob "No girlymatics" Broadbent vs John "Mr. Clean" Gray Best wheel-stand, Joe "BIG-AIR" Mendillo! Shout-out to the ECS/SS guys that came out & raced with the ASRA today, And to all the racers that helped to "change gears" (between rounds) in Bob Lunholm's "Hot-Wheels" duce! I wasn't there, but I understand there are 8 cars left, will finish tomorrow. I guess the other classes had a few issues.
60 cars entered and 5 or 6 new members joined. Overall it was a good day, just not long enough. George |
