VHT is sticky and will try to pull your shoe off and vp is dark black and you can slide your foot across it like a garage floor. Mission Raceway Park has been using VP for several years. It's not black, the stuff sticks to your shoes, cars hook and go fast there. Plenty of records set. I will agree that both have good and bad properties and stick cars seem to prefer VHT but track prep is more that just spraying.
