I bought a 60 Galaxy 500 back in 72 for 20 dollars, it had a 390 and 4 speed with Cragar SS front wheels which I wanted for my Sport Fury. I took the wheels and then sold the car for 100 dollars.

Somebody up the the task of assembling a "period correct" 409 Chevy, to match race ?

Sounds good!! We are looking for similar type builds for some good old match racing. A '60 348 would be cool but a '61 spec 409 is ok too...
