Cool Re: 1964 Dodge 330 "Race Hemi"

Here are a couple of progress photo's. 1st one is the Racepak Smartwire installation, all I have to say about this product is "WOW" this is fantastic! This is the cleanest, easiest way to wire a race car. I mounted it in the glove box so it was easy to access without crawling between the seats, shifter and reaching up under the dash. once the glove box is closed you don't see any wires. I had it all hooked up and programed but it didn't work, I called the tech line, a guy logged into my 'putor, wireless and within 5 min he showed me my mistake. Fixed it and explained my error without making me feel like a total computer illiterate fool.
2nd is the steel hood-scoop that I got from Denny, thanks.
I have received new carpet and front & rear glass rubbers so glass will go back in end of this week.
I'm trying to find new sill plates so if anyone has a line on some please let me know!

I cut the hole in the hood from a pattern I bought off the inter-web. I marked it out......looked at it for 4 days before I had the nerve to drill the first hole! I ordered a bolt/clip kit from Kramer's, so next step is to bolt it down to hood and send it all over to the body shop for finishing and paint.

Tom Great job cutting. Once you got control of your nerves, what did you use to cut the hole. claude

Tom,

That is one SWEET looking ride! Glad to see that you're going the way of the Elephant. Wish I could help you with who may have a short-block laying around.

Keep us posted please!

Tom,great looking car you are building as always. May I ask what you used for the side bar protectors? Are those the carbon fiber from Bickel or such or vinyl and are you satisfied? Thanks Gary
