WOW - - That has got to put a crimp in the plans. It looks like work is continuing, so good luck and can't wait to see the finished product. I love the look of this car. Reminds me of the way these cars looked when raced new and on into the 70's and even the 80's. Much better than the current crop of s/s cars. I LOVE old school super stockers.

I'm an old school racer at heart. I raced the 1969 Mustang in the picture and won SS/GA class at Pomona in 1972 and still have it.

Steve Baur at this time will be a freelance writer and we will be moving forward with the build featured in Modified Mustangs & Fords magazine.

Well, that's one issue I'll be buying! Normally can't see buying a magazine that's solely full of the same cookie cutter cars. pg5, a $100,000 mustang, pg10, another $100,000 mustang but a different colour, pg 25, yet ANOTHER mustang with a different paint job...yawn...

Or am I thinking of "modified mustang" or "mustang monthly" or any one of a dozen "mustang only" mags.

Beautiful car and whatever it's in I'll buy to see;
(1) a class car.
(2) a ford other than a mustang.

Yesterday I taped the grille and sprayed it semi gloss black let it dry over night and installed today
