Will get it done as quick as possible... i figure another 1k will get me to better than before...as long as piston didnt get hurt, or worse...

Yeah, Bob, i had valve cover off at the track, and keepers all looked normal... gonna rip intake and valley cover off tonight...will keep you posted...

Removed heads, #4 exh valve bent, as suspected... only went to 5700-5800.
Pulling shortblock tonight, to check #4 bearing, and make sure its not passing anything, as the filter was pretty clean, but, lifters already showing wear. Cam still looks fair. Also alot easier to degree cam, and i have a pan bolt, along passenger side, that is leaking a bit...( a first for me) ...Chris at Comp is gonna be working on a new grind for me, and we will figure out springs and lifters...Hope to be ready for testing, before Joliet.... fingers crossed...Piston had very small spot on it... ![]()
