Jim if it has the original fuel pump on it there may be a fuel filter built into that pump.

I have seen those pumps with a twist off lower section and there is a filter in there that never gets changed. They get plugged. Just a possibility...

Kubota engines and yes very reliable.... they just need a good clean steady fuel supply...

Don't mean to steel your Thunder on here, I completely rebuilt mine a few years ago after it had 14,000 plus hours.

I ordered and installed a new facet fuel pump, put a new inline filter in and ran it for a couple of hours with the a/c on. No issues. I guess the real test will be at Joliet, but so far so good! Thanks for the advice guys! Btw, found it on line for 109 bucks!

Well good news. The old genset has been running well. Ran about ten hours straight two days in a row with both roof airs on to keep the drag dogs in the comfort that they are accustomed to!
