Nothing better to do today so I took the remainder of my spare Q-jet parts and cobbled together one more carb to take to the track. The main body is a 207 and the rest of it from carbs unknown....145 inlet, 67 primaries and CL rods on a K hanger. Would'nt it be a hoot if this turned out to be "the one" ?

Going to attempt to tune out any air door bogs on our concrete apron outside the shop on all the carbs before heading to the track.

I always lied a loose air door and fast pull off, as long as it don't bog you'll be fine. If it bogs tighten door like, or slow down pu off ti it goes away.

I really saw a difference goin from standard linkage to almost 1:1 ... it was roughly .02-.025 in 60'...maybe a little more when the air was real good... i wouldnt go back the other way, again...it should really come out good, with the 4.88s ... Did you get some of Cliff's acc pumps?

Only one of them has the large pump and it isnt a option...I had to bore the well to .730 and use a pump for a 2G.
