Hated to do it at this point in the year, but something has to be done to find some hp. I'm going to try to reuse the stock block if possible this go round...efforts will be centered mainly on internal drag and windage, then on to the heads, intake and cam.

Ambitious as usual I stripped the decals off the body (along with some of the paint) in preparation for some new paint.

Rich, I sure hope you put the white back on it. '70 Corvette Classic White has to be the best race car white, ever. -Al

I agree Alan, but my partner wants something with some color to it. I'm leaning toward Sierra Fawn...only 2% of these cars were sold with that color and I have yet to see one on the track. http://www.69pace.com/paint1967sierrafawn.htm

I like that Mountain Green as well, but not sure how the Gold interior would jive with that... http://www.69pace.com/paint1967mountaingreen.htm

Both colors will look great Rich,,, with or without a vinyl roof. I'm pulling for the Mountain Green. I think there was a Sierra Fawn Camaro at the Northern Nationals in May,,, a stick car if I recall, correctly. Either way, you can't go wrong,, take care.
