Good Eyes This car was a 1967 Coronet 'Model 440' with a 426 Street Hemi. As per Dodge {for marketing purposes} the Coronet 'Model 440' was lettered with the 'R/T' logo on the front of the rear quarter-panels. Check out the 'flat' Hood {non R/T style}. As noted, this Coronet had suffered a damaged right front fender and twisted bumper in January 1967, just before the NHRA Winternationals.

another thing about this car is the black? vinyl roof. Dick was promoting the "White Hat" versions in 67. Jean Landy told me she was tasked with the promotion of giving away little "White Hat" key chains @ races. She actually gave me the one she has kept since 67. She told me she'd give it to a young Robert Landy to entertain him with the keys durring this time.

As of January 5, 1967 ~ The B/SA National Record was a 'soft' 12.97 @ 108.57 MPH. By May 1967, Mike had set the B/SA National Record with a 12.63 @ 110.28 MPH. He later lowered it to 12.61.
