Need to pick up 200 trans case for BOP from racer in town. Having a used 6.14 being shipped from Flagstaff. Might be to much but it was cheap and nice condition
Questions
1) All air cond. items can be removed and plate to fill hole in firewall ok?
2) Any size spare tire allowed?
3) Does rear end have to be exact same length from backing plate to backing plate?
4) Can roof rack be removed? (hate the look)
5) Shock absorbers for bumpers be replaced or something made up to hold bumper on?
6) Under dash items removed but whats visible on dash must stay?
New total today 1625.00
1) Yes but you must leave the top plate that the seal for the hood is on.
2) As long as it fits the car.
3) Pretty much.
4) As long as the car was available W/O a roof rack.
5) No.
6) Correct.

Part of that luggage rack deal was the air deflector that kept exhaust from going in an open tail window...Therefore, I think they all had them.
I see some of Provoast's wagons didn't have the rack.
I wouldn't worry too much about taking it off..You have my permission ;-)

Going with a 200 trans now?

Since the car came with no motor I finally scored a very complete running not smoking 307 with the correct heads, another intake, pulleys ,oil pan, carb. All the little things I might need. $200.00. Nothing to show yet so no pictures. Still collecting parts.Total 1825.00

What's this about a spare tire? Are we stockers supposed to carry a spare?

Don't have to, but seeing it comes with car, it's not considered part of the 100# removable ballast.
You know where it goes in those cars, right?
