I just bought one of the 45 dollar carbs off of Ebay. Seems to be OK so far. I will know more after I get to drive it around this weekend if you want to check back with me Monday.
I cant remember the exact prices I was quoted now. But it was about the same 300 for a OEM carb. 200 for a rebuild kit. and 45 dollars for a ebay carb. I figured I would take a chance and try it. LOL |

Thanks Rob,
I found a new OEM for 111.00 so I went with that not taking any chances. Probably the after market carbs are just as good. There really is not much to them.

As far as casting numbers in the main body. Mine were exactly the same and as best I could measure the jets are the same size too. I dont blame you for going with a OEM for that price. If I could have found that deal I would have gone that way too.
