Default Re: Woodfin's SS GT/TB construction series

I have backed off, rested and now it's time to update.

With the first launch out of the trailer the Super 10 had a stumble at the hit, that Friday night we had three runs and as we got more aggressive with the leave the stumble got worse.

In my overnight pondering I expected fuel was sloshing from the vent and flooding the engine. Saturday morning before running I removed the front float bowl and sure nuff, no vent baffle installed. Our temporary fix was the old rubber hose between the vent tubes and that cured the stumble and let us make the day.

The better fix, Quick Fuel sells a trick vent baffle that sits in the metering block and is captured by the bowl.

Later will show photos of the BLP closed top, open on sides vent tubes.
