Well the race is officially started! "turalura leigh" (Ilene) and "On the Cover of the Rolling Stone" have played on the pa this morning and the stockers have their first call to the lanes. It sprinkled a little this morning around 5, but the jet dryers have been out and hopefully we have a good track to run on!

102 stockers made the first run! Super stock was just called up, then Stock runs 1st round of class. There are 7 B/SA cars. Lots of red lights on the 1st run. We got down the track!!!

I do have a question. Is Ryan Warter driving Bill Edgeworth's Firebird this weekend? And could you get a picture of him with the car if that is the case?? We lost Bill to cancer just a month ago, so very emotional time for us all up north here.

The car Warter was driving was blue and that is all I know about it.


Larry is still getting used to Jeff's car and was just happy to get it down the track. Joe red-lighted 1st round. Kevin won class in stock and super stock. Jim is going into the 3rd round of class in stock.


I came back in the motorhome after the first round of class and took a nap. I think maybe a feel a little better now.


I took a few pictures when we went down to Jeff's to pick up his pink car that I did not post until the cat got out of the bag. Here are a few of them:


We stopped by Larry Cummings place to pick up some fuel and got to tour his great museum and he and his wife have put together. Here are a few pics from there:

Yes, Ryan is driving Bill's car, I don't have a photo of him with it.
