Things like that happen in every line of work, whether the person does it intentionally or unintentionally due to being crook or just not knowing or by mistake is not always easy to tell then other times it is obvious which reason is why.
I have had very few things done for me by someone else,my car had some upholstery work done by someone else, what few things I had done some went well, some not so well. How a problem is handled by business tells the tale, not always is there a way to make both happy. Dishonest businesses, make it harder on honest ones because the customer is gun shy and cautious and should be and protect their selves. In construction industry that's why they have building codes, inspections,to protect the customers from sub standard work etc.,sure some stuff still slips through though. Mike Taylor 3601 |

I never have. Maybe I'm lucky but my builders have always treated me fairly and have done great work. That ,I think,I can also say for my sons..

One thing I've found is the good guys all know each other. Or at least know of each other. I've got a ton of friends in the business. For years I was in the transmission business. I really hate that business because of how many cutthroats, con artists, and rip offs there are in it. I'm glad to be out and not doing anything in that line but custom, restoration, and racing stuff.

On the other side of things Allen Sherman and Mike Trumble have been nothing but great to me. They are two of the best people in the sport. Great people who helped me in every way. Can't thank them enough.
