I haven't been to Atmore in many years but it was a nice facility and the folks were pretty friendly. As I remember shade was at a premium.

Probably a little late but Mobile Dragway is probably the closer than any others. IT just east of Mobile on US Hwy. 90. Shares property with the 1/2 Asphalt oval also.
