Hope it all works out for you Dave. Getting cluutch linkage in that very confined area is a challenge I' m sure, even with all the right parts.
I"ll stick with my 5800 stall with a trans brake. Just stab & steer. Lol Liteweight |

Not sure if it is still available but a couple of months ago in mopar collectors guide classified there was a complete 4 speed set up for an LO23. I know that Moparts forum has members that could be very helpful in your search. Good luck.

Thanks Savoy. I think all I need is a shifter now, which I can get fairly easily. I did find out that the 1964 steel bell housing (2406042) that supposedly came on a '64 Stage III 426 will fit a 426 Hemi, and accepts a '68 Hemi SS trans. I physically tried both. I think it's excactly the same as the '64-68 steel Hemi bell (2463236); same engine bolt pattern, same hemi trans bolt pattern, and bearing retainer hole size.
