Novanicks,
Too run the big mph in S/G you'll need a couple of things: 1). Plenty of Horsepower 2). Fairly light car (under 2500lb's) 3). Go on the stop very early and still be able to get the tree Last edited by Shake & Bake; 09-10-2016 at 06:36 PM. |

Thank you guys. Very helpful.
Shake and Bake - to run 180mph at 9.90 how much HP does that take? Are there any other tricks to running big MPH other than HP? For example, I've heard timing retard on the big end can help, but I don't if that's say 0.5 mph or 2.5 mph. |

Not sure I've seen a 180mph SG car yet but I'd imagine your talking 1300+hp
You can squeeze a little extra MPH by going on the stop sooner. In SC our first timer is set at .000. Sooner you can get off the stop sets you up with more track to pull. |

J & S Racing,
Were you at the Summit Nationals in Norwalk ,Ohio last year or at the April Indy points Race this year? If you were you would have seen a 180mph+ S/G car. Just for the record.... |
