I think the run sheets may have had him listed under another name because I knew your car was there but didn't actually see him driving. Is your car number 912? If so they have his name listed as George Houston on all the run sheets.

Hey Tracy...George Houston???...I filled out Greg's card...he took it down to gal at "shack"...we were parked next to Jim Morgan...across from Brandon Petersen...the number has always been 912...for this car..."mistakes" for sure do happen...no one has ever driven Greg's car but he...I've been around motorsports for just a few years...life for awhile longer...my integrity level precludes any nonsense about/for having a "mystery" driver...in any "attempt" to collect points for CCRA...or anywhere else...if you are attending East Coast Drag Racing Hall of Fame event in Henderson this coming weekend...I'll be there as 2016 Inductee...for any further conversation needed...otherwise...'nuff said !!! -Drake...

Easy, easy Drake! I'm not questioning your integrity at all. I just pointed out how the mistake was made, evidently the name was entered incorrectly in the tower and all I had to go by was the run sheets. It will be corrected and congrats on your induction into the East Coast Drag Racing Hall of fame...much deserved!

Hey Tracy...even though I am a long ago graduate of "Anger Management"...Magna Cum Laude......like any substance "issue"...I "fall" off the wagon... surely not often...once in a rare while...it's not all about the points (yes...it is!!!)...just felt some sort of "inference" as stated in previous note...whatever end result is...a-ok...we're gonna' keep going forward...honor/finish our commitment/plan for 2016...evaluate over couple winter months...be ready for 2017 to continue in some drag racing catagory...thanx again-Drake...p.s. is thee..."George Houston" any relation to late Whitney Houston???...or Jim Houston (a fine linebacker for Cleveland Browns in late 50's early 60's)...???...didn't "know" either of them...either...think I might have liked too-just sayin'

George Houston may be someone that has raced at Piedmont w/ the same number or similar. I don't keep points by car numbers and didn't know Greg's number was 912...I keep points by driver as some guys have more than one car and may drive their stocker at one race and super stocker at another and may have different numbers on each. Once again, didn't mean to "infer" anything, just stating that I didn't see Greg's name on the run sheets anywhere. I definitely didn't mean it as you guys were trying to do something shady w/ the points. Just a mistake, that's all and I apologize for any confusion!

Hey Tracy...final "note" on this...CCRA racers are all in a word...AWESOME...both as racing participants...and genuine good people...we'll feel fortunate to be able to race with this group over last couple years...2016...going into last race...a true dog-fight at the top by a number of racers...who certainly have done a fine job this season...we've been at best mediocre...so our "fight" is to hope to finish somewhere at bottom of top 10...BUT...for us...the experience...inner family cohesion...I wouldn't "trade" for being number 1...I've been there/done that...regretfully all about me...for far too many years...!!!...committed myself sometime ago with the boys efforts...most importantly...it's all about family...after that...however each race/round goes...it goes...'eh...my sincere apologies for far too much "drama"...over the tally error... thank you for adjustment Drake
