OK, so my engine is finally done and here (still to be installed), and the new A&A transmission and converter are on their way, also. Wheelie bars are being figured out..not much room on a narrowed Dana, but should be able to get things figured out exactly, when the drivetrain is all installed and the suspension is loaded more.

Here are a few photos, including a copy of the Dyno. Keep in mind, this is with just the MP cross ram, no sheet-metal intake (I wanted more of an original look for this original LO car). Also, I told him I just may want to take this out on the street occasionally, so Tim Banning went with more of what he considers his "Pro Street" cam; not the usual valvetrain-killing SuperStock cam setup that wouldn't be nearly as well-suited for street use. Tim thought the engine would be near the 1050 hp range as is with JUST a change to his sheet metal intake.

I am so bummed that I waited all summer, and now (here in South Dakota) I won't get a chance to try this out until next May/June... but I bet it will be worth the wait. Unfortunately, that's also probably about when my new Demon will arrive, so I will have two cars to get figured out.

Come now, be nice.

Here's my two cents: There's nothing wrong with building a clone, just build it right, i.e., like the factory originals.

Exactly, and you obviously didn´t read the post... Gen 3 motor... besides guy asked for our opinion.
It´s just I think this thread should stay "clean".
In fact I admire these guys who build all kinds of combos and make them run and look nice and everything, but there are so many Forums and Threads for that.
Nice someone react to my post though... If I ask a question or wonder about something concerning these cars, I never get someone to respond.

Whoa! Not a big deal. SSS I see your point and deleted the post. It was not appropriate for this thread. Just got a little carried away having scored the hell cat crate for literally pennies on the dollar. Ok, now lets get back to what this thread is all about. Keep posting those photos as they are as cool as heck. Carry on.

Au contraire, monsieur. I did read the post before the original poster deleted it. Your response was not too friendly and that's not cool.
