I'm going to try tv cable first. Added spring pressure. Not sure on increasing line pressure. I thought adjusting tv cable make my 1-2 shift where I want it. No?

TV cable works with governor for low, medium speed shifts. At WOT. TV valve is bottomed out to max. Governor takes over. You'll have to modify governor, which is a p.o.s. , compared to 350/400. At least it's outside the pan,..not like the 200 4R.
You can find much more info on the o.d trans from the GN boys. It is similar in function.

Sounds like I need to go without tv cable and bottom out plunger and hold it there, then see how to make governor adjustable.

Then you'll be driving around the pits in low gear all the time.LOL

Probably told you before, but the TA valve body is the way to go. I know, the budget thing and all, but this idea will cost you more in the long run .Testing fees, fried frictions and steels, spilled and lost fluid ,etc.

With all due respect to my other friends that will build v.b.'s , Paul did a bunch of research before releasing his product. Trust me on this,.. all who may be reading here.

Being the cheap s.o.b I am, I could probably build my own now, but without a mill , surfacer and such, it's just not worth it .

Now, just waiting to see how you're going to get that converter on the money with an Ebay buy .. ;-)

Waiting for a Ebay price from you. I've been watching on classracer for one but haven't seen one yet. I don't have a core to build one.
