I will second that.....When that little girl starts going rounds (and she will) these mini battery’s will disappoint at the worst possible time....

This is the minimum we run in the E/SA Camaro Todd... https://www.braillebattery.com/index...atteries/b3121

Still going strong after three seasons and it is still pretty light. We do run an alternator and charge between runs. The 17 is kind of iffy.

Thanks Rich, I have a Braille store about 1/2 mile away, I'll stop in and look into that battery. For now, I'll put the new one we have in then replace it with the Braille later.

Aside from the light weight of a Lithium Ion battery they can be fully recharged quickly like in 30 minutes or so as opposed to a lead acid or AGM battery that needs considerably more time.
In addition to their weight savings Lithium batteries also can be mounted in virtually any position, and due to their size take up very little space wherever positioned

Yes cost is a factor but the advantages I feel out weigh the disadvantages when compared to the other types of batteries you might be considering--FED 387

As I was looking this morning I ran acress this guy...

Now the price seems pure insanity but reading it's capabilities as far as how long it holds a charge is really unbelievable.

I'd sooner be gut shot than spend that much on a battery lol!

Went to the Braille store down the street today and this battery is in stock $217+ tax so a few dollars more than say Jegs or Summit.

It appears they have not changed much in price over the years. I think the key to longevity (for any battery really) is to use a maintenance charger when not in use or during the off season. I know they have improved the life of my small engine batteries considerably.

Dropped the radiator back off today for more welding, made some fuel lines, mounted some fuel lines and brake line, tried out the new flex hoses.
