Thanks matt, I just wasn't sure if the thread pitch was something special and I didn't have any with me to check.

Matt is correct the Zx3 is 3/8-24. Occasionally a real old Jerico is setup for 5/16-18.

More and more guys are putting the sensor in the trans case:

Would be nice to see a fitting that would fit speedo cable hole since its not used.
