I think NHRA needs to look into it as F1, MotoGp, and others have series. Heard a rumor that Nascar will be in a few years as well. The only difference with the ones i stated compared to the nhra is driving is a factor in the other catergories. In Drag racing usually the crew chief and tuner play a bigger role in a win with the heads up pro categories.
Does anyone know if weather plays a role in performance of a battery driven vehicle? |

Check with Jeff Lane or Pat McCue. They are both members here. They are the people behind the eCopo Camaro that made runs at select events about a year ago, if I remember correctly.

Look at the bright side. Drag strip owners would not have to worry about noise ordinances. You could build a drag strip next to a church or an old peoples home and you could race until the wee hours of the morning.There has to be some other redeeming factors to racing electric cars but those are the only two I have thought of, so far. But I am only on my third Jim Beam on the rocks. I do some of my best thinking with Jim. More later...…..
