OK, it's time to dig into some race results from some of the '77-'78 Birds that have been mentioned.

I've been told that most of the credit for the big hp hits on the '77-'78 Bird 400 engines can probably go to the Don Holmes Bird. So, let's take a closer look at some of the performances that may have caused at least some of those hits.

There are probably LOTS of DRC results that deserve mention. So, I'll divide this into 2 posts. The 1st will be for those races where Don was the driver. The next post will be where Rob was the driver.

As most here know, back in the old days, it was common for drag cars to have a name, which was usually displayed on the doors. The name I've seen on this car is "Kemo Sabe", beginning with pics on Auto Imagery dated from 2002 & 2004.
