Got a few thing done today... distributor goes in like butter now no more tearing o-rings, carb and fuel lines, got some new plugs in and some other little stuff. Also since we are going to pull the plugs a lot for after run oil and a couple (plugs) are a bear I ordered these nifty little plug sockets for the tight ones.

All things about this thread are positive!! It's a good build. Todd has been very open about what he is doing and how he is doing it. He has answered questions when asked about various aspects of the proceedings. The photo documentation is great.
And probably the most positive thing, he and Autumn are doing it as a family!! I, for one, will follow their progress and racing adventures through the year. Best of luck, and keep up the good work! #5458 Curt Rees

Used either a box or open end wrench to finish tightening up the plug...I should have got a patent so Snap On could pay me royalties

Fixed some paint on the motorhome and still plugging away at the small stuff on the car. Belts are re-certed and back in, almost everything else is done, gonna try to button up a couple things in the morning and fire it up.

We got it all wrapped up this morning, fired off on the first click of the starter, ran it for 30 seconds and re-checked the valves and found 1 that needed tightened up. Big difference in this setup and oiling to the top VS the last setup. Ran cam break-in for 30 minutes, tomorrow morning I'll check on the new driveshaft and at some point we'll swap rockers.
