I, personally, air mine up to 110 to 115psi with the onboard air system because it goes through an air dryer and imo is better than a compressor. Yes, it’s slow! You have to pump the brakes on the mh until the compressor kicks in but it works.

The pancake compressor is not going to do the job!!! First the recovery rate is going to take too long (2.3CFM)and the upper limit of them is only about 150 PSI-- it will take you forever to do anything .---Are you talking 22.5 TRUCK tires like on a Diesel Pusher MH or tires on a Class A or Class C that take 90-100 PSI ????----you are going to need a Compressor !!!!! not a flyweight pancake unit-- Save your money on this--FED 387

While I will admit that this is not the ideal way to add air to a 22.5 motorhome and/or truck tire, it will most definitely do the job. I have seen it dozens if not hundreds of times. I don't see to many motorhomes with enough room to carry a large compressor, so these little portable units work just fine.

One thing to look into when shopping for the pancake compressors is to make sure they have a relief that releases the air when the compressor shuts off. It makes a big difference if you are running it off of a generator. I have Craftsmen that has it and can easily run it off a 3500 what generator. I friend bought the harbor freight version. And his would about kill a 4500 watt generator if he tried to start it with pressure in the tank.
