Bert's Performance and Restoration, owned & operated by one of our own CCRA-Carolina Class Racers Association racers, Bert Powell started business this year. Although this business was just "truly" established in 2021, Bert has been building cars for 35 years. Bert's Performance and Restoration builds drag cars, resto mods, pro touring, and auto restoration; from full chassis and setup, wiring to engine rebuilding. Bert says building a car should be a journey that you enjoy just as much as the finished product His goal is to provide honest service and quality work. We have all heard the horror stories at the car shows of projects that went bad for one reason or another. Bert's number one priority is that you do not have a bad story to tell.

Bert has built a Goodguys Top Ten Award winner as well as a NHRA National Record holder. He has done numerous ground up restorations from Chevelles to Broncos. Bert races a 1984 Chevy Camaro "Bad Rat-Itude" in Super Stock GT/IA powered by a 402 BBC with a quadrajet that runs a second under his 10.65 1/4 mile index. This is the second 3rd Generation Camaro SS car that Bert has built. The first one held the NHRA record in SS GT/BA.
