Congrats on the build, you should RE READ the advice Glenn B. gave you,…if this is a dish combo ,45 thou is not enough clearance. I would invest in a soft touch for the water…down the road you might consider custom head gaskets for more valve clearance…just trying to save you guys some $$ and aggravation ….

I think "soft touch for the water" means a rev limiter for the burnout...

A good rule of thumb for a 11 second stocker fuel system. Unplug fuel line at carb, using a stop watch and a one gallon jug …see how many seconds it takes to fill the jug. …you need to be in the ballpark of 25 - 30 seconds …
