While working on the engine harness I wanted to power the system for the first time to verify the display was operational.

With the wiring pretty much done, it was time to install the transmission and converter. I had concerns over the converter pilot length given this car has an additional 1/8" block plate along with the 1/4" midplate. And sure enough, the pilot is too short as are the block bellhousing dowels. So while the trans was still in the car I wanted to weigh the car before removing it to resolve the two trans issues.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Weight as it sat on the scales, no driver. ![]() I also weighed and accounted for all the parts not bolted to the car yet. ![]() and a quick weigh with driver... ![]() So in the end the car should be right at 2640 lbs with driver, race ready. |
