With the car at thee body shop for some final details, not alot I can update. I did work on some carbon fiber repairs to the dash so it can be painted & airbrushed. I changed from the Racepak IQ3 to the Holley 7" dash which meant the display opening needed to be filled in. Also while fitting the dash initially I notched too far for the X-brace so that needed to be filled in as well.

A couple small projects taken care of. Front & rear glass and trim has been installed. Was able to get a brand new OEM Ford windshield and cleaned up the stock rear glass since that isn't available anywhere. The side moldings were also installed this week.
I have the car entered in the East Coast Indoor Nationals in December. Not sure the car will be ready... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I should be picking up the car tomorrow. Gonna be some long hours to get the car ready for the show this coming weekend.
Sneak peak at the carbon dash. After sanding and the carbon repairs, the dash was painted with a textured paint to mimick the original vinyl/plastic look. Also had some air brushing done. Local guy is super talented. ![]() |

I got the car back Wednesday evening and got to work on the little of small things to get done before the Indoor East Coast Nationals car show this weekend in Timonium, MD.
Since the car was pretty well completely assembled, I took some time to set up the scales. Pics posted with and without driver. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
