Glad to see the progress on your project. Looks like you are making very good decisions on parts selection. Your car is like the one I ran back in 1973. YES, I know that was almost 50 years ago. Brings back some great memories and look forward to your results.

Last weekend I painted the headers and getting ready to pull the gas tank and old fuel lines tomorrow and get ready to start on the fuel system... 2 1/2 gallon cell with -6 fuel lines, Holley Blue pump and Holley fuel regulator with Moroso Filters....

I purchased a Holley black pump and Holley regulator. Any tips,tricks suggestions on mounting?

The pump must be lower than the fuel - remember, electric pumps ONLY "push" fuel, they don't "pull", unlike a mechanical pump.

Mount the fuel pump as close to the fuel tank as possible. Also figure out what class you want to run and you can make the plate where the fuel tank was and make it thicker or thinner to help with the weight of your car. In my Fairlane i had a 1/8 inch steel plate with about 60 pounds of ballast and a full size battery to weigh 3400 LBS.
