In our older cars @11.49 you require a rollbar and Harness/Jacket.

In my late model Corvette, I can and do run 10s without
the requirement of a roll bar or a harness.

However, I AM required to wear a fire Jacket.

Go figure how that makes any sense!

The nonsensical way that NHRA comes up with these various rules drives me nuts.
A strong class action suit would be beneficial for all. But of course, that would involve herding us cats, and NHRA knows they have us right where they want us. Besides, I'm sure their (our?) lawyers let them know what they can do.
I'm sure that just by posting this, it reinforces their beliefs, as I can't believe they don't monitor this forum, at least to some degree.
