Default Re: How did a milidon 30401 pan become a stock replacement?

The Milodon 30401 is a copy of the 6 qt Chevy Corvette SBC oil pan. 5 in the pan and 1 in the filter.
Moroso has an equivalent to the pan under P/N 20180 and it is also NHRA approved.
Both pans have been approved as a replacement to the OEM 5 qt oil pan.

Should NHRA ban the use of oil accumulators too?
