If my 327 wasn't broken i probably would have had my Camaro there in Super Stock. Might try to put something together for later this year or next year.

At this race (so far) there are 15 entries in Stock and 21 in Super Stock.
I think it would be interesting to hear the true reasons why the car counts are so low. The debacle that took place prior to this race? No class eliminations? Some went to SGMP? Not NHRA? (Wally) Cost of joining IHRA/New #/License? They are NOT using the current NHRA indexes. (did anyone know that?) Here's the past 4 years of car counts at the NHRA Sportsnationals. 2024 Stock: 119 Super Stock: 113 2023 Stock: 119 Super Stock: 117 2022 Stock: 139 Super Stock: 103 2021 Stock: 143 Super Stock: 107 Last edited by jeff_kovalik; 07-10-2025 at 03:57 PM. |

What indexes are they using for stock and super stock? And what are they using to classify these cars?

They are using the old indexes from NHRA. Back before they changed them. IHRA was this way before they disbanded Class racing a few years ago. Nothing new here, it's the way they do it. So just add .3 to everything from NHRA. NHRA 10.40 flat index, IHRA 10.70
