Picked up about 8hp with C25 over C12. My engine is almost 14:1 though.

Long time ago - when C9 came out I talked to VP engineers and they told me that C9 would be faster in my Jeep (9.5 CR) than C10 so I used it - even set a record with it! The next year I went to fuel check and was told that C9 was not on the approved list Sunoco was the Official fuel at that time. After a couple of weeks NHRA got back to me and said nobody was using it so they removed it from approved list!!! If it is back on the approved list I'd use the C9 in low compression motors.

WE tried Sunoco 260 GTX. That is worthy for our 8.5 compression 302w.

I was using C9 when it was taken of the list. NHRA didn't say anything about taking fuels off the list but did say what fuels were added to list. Was a surprise to me that first race of the year that year, the track we were at had no fuel vendors at it. A friend lent me some C11 to get through that race. I talkeded to VP and all someone has to do is just ask for it to be put back on the list so I did haven't seen it back on the list yet maybe we need to call and email them again. I am at the Seattle national right now, will go over and get a contact info on who to talk to. Let's get C9 back on the list
