I worked hard to keep my trucks short for maneuverability. Either a 53' trailer and 5' sleeper, I could get them down to 73-74', and that's with the fifth wheel ahead of the center between the tandems. Several years ago, a fellow from Texas told me that the AVERAGE length of haulers he was selling was 88'. I'm going with 104'.
